Land Title 101 - What to Look for Before You Buy

Caitlin joined UF/IFAS Extension in Marion County in 2017 after obtaining her bachelors degree in
Animal Sciences from the University of Florida. Caitlin also completed her Masters degree in Agronomy
from the University of Florida in 2020. Working for the Cooperative Extension Service is a full time,
University of Florida faculty position that is also in partnership with local county government. Caitlin
services all equine & beef cattle owners and prospective land owners in Marion County helping them to
achieve sustainable operations and trouble shoot problems they may face on the farm from pasture
management, animal health and nutrition, and various operation objectives to improve the bottom line
of their farms. The mission of UF/IFAS Extension is to provide solutions for your life through science-
based, non biased research. Caitlin spends a lot of her time meeting with new or prospective land
owners in the ever evolving and rapidly growing Marion County.
